We are a diverse group of singers from across Manchester who love singing and enjoy performing our songs to a wide range of audiences. We sing unaccompanied (acapella) and we aim to have fun while we practise and perform.
Our repertoire includes a rich and varied mix of modern and traditional songs, reflecting our values of respect for the world and its peoples, and a belief in freedom, fairness and peace.
We welcome everyone and we don’t audition. We keep our subscription rates as low as possible, varying according to members’ ability to pay.
We welcome new members, whether you are an experienced singer or have never sung with others before. Come along to join us if you like to sing for the joy of it!
If you would like to find out more about what we sing and how we learn songs, come along to a free taster session and talk to us, just contact our membership secretary for more information.
We have three rehearsals a month, on a Sunday afternoon, and two Monday evenings – singing live at Didsbury Baptist Church (with a linked Zoom session online for singers unable to join in person).
We regularly perform in community, charity and festival venues.
Why not ask Manchester Community Choir to perform at your next event?
